Scottish connection: 1801-1804, James Mackay was the third commandant of the district of St. Charles. Mackay explored and mapped the Missouri River before Lewis and Clark arrived.

Lewis & Clark launched their famous journey from the settlement of St. Charles in May, 1804.

LEWIS & CLARK FIFE & DRUM CORPS

The Lewis & Clark Fife & Drum Corps will perform on each date listed, 1pm-2pm. The Corps also performs regularly at special events on South Main Street.
